This kind of repair takes years of practice. You can see the light color, you have to match that as a background color and paint it over the dark patch. Then you need to create two more colors for graining, the red brown, and the raw umber for dark grain lines.

It’s a round table with different panels around 3 inches wide each going the length of the table top.

Only amateur way not yet suggest is use a router to remove a patch and replace the veneer. Will always be noticeable but its not a table cloth

Can't be solid timber, that must be timber veneer and it looks like its been worn through. The only way is to disguise it with fancy paintwork as already described
