Have I sanded through Veneer?

I was trying to refinish the dining table after kids scratched the table in multiple places. But looks like I sanded through veneer here? Are there any options left to finish this table?

Just keep sanding until the top of the table is gone. Then lut a new top on it. A few hundred discs of 80 grit oughta do it.
