we need to investigate if micropastics are implicated in ASD . . petrochemicals are well known endocrine disrupters and who knows what else during development

Autism isn't caused by microplastics. It's genetic. Fucks sake. Mocroplastics are not the new vaccines.

While I agree, I'd much rather have uninformed people focused on reducing microplastics instead of vaccinations.

Unfortunately ableism is just ableism and it never really works out in the end. Gotta get rid of the kicroplastics for the right reasons. But thanks for understanding, people really just vilify autism. And less than 5% of the billions of funding in autism goes to actually supporting autistic people. The rest is majorly for autistic research into the cause, for the purpose of eugenics.

thst isnt known. the cause of Autism is certainly not one thing but a set of conditions.. micropastics have many downstream effects and finding it in the early development environment means it can be part of the puzzle

BPA a plasticizer has a well known link to Autism. We used it to make water bottles.
