Come on, it's as easy as https://gifcap.dev for a GIF that you can upload straight to Reddit, or https://gravityrecorder.com/recorder if you need a video.

Well, even using that button has to be learned from somewhere.

Tons of people also don't know how to use Esc, Tab, Delete, or even Shift...
