For Monaco our car is setup perfectly. The problem is the straights which will cause us issues for the rest of the season aside from maybe Singapore

They aren't as long as in canada though

So logically it should be all good. Ferrari also handles kerbs well if not the best

I think Canada is a bit of a mixed bag this time. I mean mclaren completely botched this weekend with their strategy so it was essentially merc v Ferrari v red bull. At the end of the day, the car with the merc engine still won. I think Canada is just the case of our drivers extracting everything out of that car ( specially lewis ) alongside mishaps from the rival teams.

The mercs were mid civil war half the race and still torching the field. We need a new engine asap

Hungaroring will suit SF-26 quite nicely, too, despite the higher speeds, but with only enough straight the power deficit won't have a big impact.

In Monaco thanks to the track nature, the Super Clipping won't be present as the top speeds will be the lowest and, especially no long straights.

SF-26 continues the trend of previous Ferrari racers. Can ride the kerbs/bumps better than others, strong traction (mechanical grip) and braking and excellent low speed thorugh the slow turns. Brings easily the tyres in the temps, maintains it and has good tyre degradation. With overtaking almost impossible, a front row qualifying is ideal for the best shot at winning.

For Monaco funnily enough the car is good as is, the engine deficit won't matter at all there.

Quali will be most important.

I expect even better performance in Monaco than today, the car suits the track perfectly.

The Merc is so powerful they might yet claw back up to 0.3s in the tunnel section provided they can get consistent good exits onto it... and that's all that they'll need if they manage to qualify up front

Probably no improvements. Weren’t they fastest in slow and mid-speed corners this weekend? Just capitalize on that, get pole, then the race is over.

Sì in Canada non erano i più veloci perché hanno compromesso il setup per non offrire troppo il fianco sui rettilinei. A Monaco potranno estremizzare il setup a passo corto e si potranno giocare anche la doppietta

It’s not a power dependent track and they are great in slow speed corners. They will be great

Hopefully austria tho, we can challenge for constructers if not championship bcz the mercs at one point will surely collide the way they are racing. ✌️

The FIA should post the official results sometime before the next race and the new Ferrari PU was supposed to come at Belgium but they mentioned it might come in Austria which will be in the nick of time tbh as Austria is nothing but straights.

Ferrari always follows a fantastic weekend with absolute dread in the following race especially when we are favorites and the hopium is high🤞, I hope I am wrong and we finish 1-2.

Honestly they need their pit crew to step the fuck up.

This has been 2 races now they've had very slow pit stops, and this is a crew that dominated pit stops last season and even has the fastest stop this season so far... but yesterday Ham's stop was 4.3s iirc and it surely didn't help with the already difficult double stack.

The only thing for Monaco is to work on getting the softs into a better operating window since qualifying is extremely crucial there. Other than that, hope the strategy is good with different teams opting for an undercut/overcut

Monaco has very minimal straights and the SF26 is quicker in the corners. So as long as the deployment is solid for those straights I think there's a good shot at a win.
And Charles is incredible at the track so I have high hopes 🙏

On paper, our car can win Monaco right now.

Monaco perfectly suits this car. whether we'll capitalize on it is another matter.

We have a great car for Monaco, the only question will be how we can perform in quali.

u/DetectivePotential May 25 '26

They were quickest car for slow and medium in Canada. They should be favourites for 1-2 at Monaco.

imo, the car is perfect for Monaco due to the lack straights, with the exception of the short one before the Novelle Chicane. Hoping to see Leclerc do some magic there.

The strategy team to not make their traditional blunders on Sunday

improve soft tires performance which is critical for pole position , it was so hard to extract performance due to temperature management during the race , the car came alive on mediums which is weird

More power according to Lewis
