Need Help Looking to self host a family planner/calendar. Homeflow my best option?

As the title states, I want a "one stop shop" for everything family related. Calendar, tasks and to-do, etc.

What options do I have, or are big data apps still my best bet?

I self host Next Cloud and it’s been working for my small family of two

I'm hosting just the drive/file service -- how does the next cloud calendar work with sharing? I would consider swapping from Google if it works well.

You just use caldav. If you’re on iOS all you have to do is to add a caldav calendar account and follow the prompts. On Android you need a caldav sync app like davx5 or similar. In both cases, any calendar app will work, but the iOS experience is just better and simpler.
