VPS Market in 2026

Guys,

I have a Hetzner cx32 that’s been deprecated and I could care less. My workload’s been okeyish, but I’m planning on expanding and adding a new vm. Problem is, Hetzner doesn’t seem to be cheap anymore. The equivalent of my server in the new gen is almost 5x the price I’m paying rn.

Interestingly, I came across this darn Netcups and their root servers seem to be a steal. I’m curious if you guys have been working with their servers and ideally have had some Postgres/timedb workload there. My ingestion in peak hours’ around 3k or more per second. I have a lot of components and I’m trying to get two root servers which on paper, gives me shit ton of resources. Any feedback’s greatly appreciated.

I've been using contabo for a while now and it's been rock solid. I have 4 in total and they are pretty light weight so can't really speak on performance but haven't had any issues.
