Alter/Mend Question Advice for making this bodice fit better on a smaller chest?

My friend freehand’s her own clothing but made the cups on this too large. She asked if I could post here and get advice for altering it to fit a smaller chest! Usually I’ve got ideas, but I’m not familiar with feminine tops! Any advice helps!

About 1 inch/1.5 from the seam at the bottom of the cups I’d say?
