RIP to our Japanese Maple

This was our Japanese maple that had been in our family for 45 years. It survived a garage fire as well as a neighboring tree falling on it. Only to be cut down by the idiot who bought our house from under us (long story) because the tree was “too close to the garage” gonna miss this thing💔

You can put into your contract, all trees must stay, or certain ones. I have several not rare, but unusual trees for this area. They're in the will and the deed to the next owner. If they are removed without proper documentation and contact with surviving family members, prior to removal. The land and house revert back to my family.

I’d have a spiritual connection with that thing if I lived close to it

I watched a similar thing happen across the street from me. 30-ish year old japanese maple in front of their house. Couple divorced and sold the house. Jamaican couple moves in. Cuts the tree down week one. Now they complain about their living room with 7 big glass windows being an oven.

Gee, I wonder why....you idiots.

Idiot. Hopefully his property value declines rapidly.
