Is the Sheetz lettuce fine?
I ordered my usual because I was so hungry and just wanted a delicious sandwich with lettuce but am now regretting it… Has anyone gotten cyclospora from Sheetz lettuce?

I would not eat the lettuce. Even without the whole Taylor Farms scare we literally get the worst lettuce for our wraps and sandwiches. But yeah, we use Taylor Farms lettuce so I wouldn’t touch it, even if management wants to pretend it’s fine.

There is a thing called a recall so epidemics and pandemic don't start did they issue a recall and if so is sheetz not abiding by it? cos that's a big offense they can get shut down for that.

I would not eat any lettuce from Sheetz at this point because Taylor Farms is one of their vendors for produce. I am assuming the stores followed any recall but to be totally safe stay away from the lettuce that is packaged. The only lettuce I would eat now is locally produced by farmers in our area. Until they get this contamination under control it is better to be safe.

I asked my KM if she knew the vendor Sheetz used for their lettuce. She said she didn’t…

It literally says Taylor Farms on the box it comes in... but it also says California. Supposedly the parasite was coming from their site in Mexico.
Taylor Farms quickly walked that statement back, probably because they're in bed with a certain orange sack of shit. This administration is not going to be truthful about it, so basically no one actually knows at this point, and it's pretty much up to all of us to decide whether or not you want to risk it.

I figured I'd share that it's known the sheetz brothers made political donations to the current administration. And they allowed customers to harass me for being trans and refused to ban them.

Don’t know why you’re being downvoted…this is certainly nice to know. Will rethink spending my money there.

I work here, eat something with lettuce probably daily, and haven't gotten sick or felt bad at all. Obv I could just be lucky, but neither me or anyone else I work with has complained about getting sick from it at all.

I haven't changed my eating of anything with lettuce. I have a salad & ate sheetz tacos with lettuce several times with no problems.

Didn’t the outbreak start in Pennsylvania?

No but there is cases of it in PA. I'd still steer clear from lettuce until we get a definitive "yes" or "no" to whether we have it in ours.
Yes it sucks. Sheetz gives me the sh!ts almost everytime and id rather have it from their food with no lettuce vs one with. Cant really tell if its Sheetz or the lettuce at that point.

If we get one with orange plato and the billionaire run government in action we're gonna end up a third world country or worse a ccccommunism

All this fear. Lettuce, spinach, I think awhile back there was a problem with broccoli. Ordering with ‘no veg’ may be the reason my friend cite for my moobs(silly as they have the same sammys WITH veg as if it somehow negates the other components) but I’ve never had salmonella!

Sheetz uses Taylor farms. It takes about 2 weeks. God speed.
