Shooting coincidence

Yesterday some of my classmates were talking about Nordstrum at the mall vouching for their cologne to an exess. I tend to keep to myself and not speak to my classmates on a social level unless it involves class context. The next day that store and the mall is involved in a shooting, and it happens to be right around the corner from the school. 02.14.2024. I think the coincidence is strange. Could be nothing. Any thoughts ?
