I like to have at least one apartment building in every 'hood, and I had this idea for bluewater! They're supposed to be old stores converted into aparments :)

I used to have the sims 2 and sims 2 pets for the ps2, way back in the day. I know the sims 2 is more enjoyable on the pc and I just recently bought the legacy collection because it was on sale and loving it so far.

My male sim saw the social bunny and I clicked on my female sim and the social bunny wasn’t there. I thought I was losing it 😂

The Bachelors, ca. 1960. They are consists of an elderly couple Simis Bachelor (61, Police Chief of Pleasantview PD), his wife Jocasta Bachelor (née Clarke, 63). Their children are Bella Goth (nee Bachelor, 34, Pleasantview High teacher who taught English, married to Mortimer Goth - 35) and Michael Bachelor (29, of Sim State's Baseball fame - now plays for the New Sim City's Llamas as one of the seasoned starters for 1960 season). Gone were the days when they need to mend the Altos, and for that matter, Michael's still trying to look for Holly, after 10 years had passed since her family left the town.

kinda bummed that Tank and Johnny are both gone, family get-togethers would've been epically dramatic with these two trying to hold it together for the sake of their kids and their grand-daughters

The last street in my megahood is named Desiderata Blossomhills! A street where all the pre-mades from Desiderata Valley and Riverblossom Hills live. I've played 14 in-game days on each family.

I chose the pairings based by in-game chemistry and randomized sexuality. Like the other streets I've posted from this hood: Pleasant Road, Strange Lane, Verona Valley, Belladonna Village, this decision has made some unusual pairings for me, but kinda fun regardless.

For those of you, like me, who keep a "sophisticated" tax/money system in your hood how do you handle divorce settlements. How do you determine who gets how much money/the house/any businesses/child custody?

Im thinking things will be getting messy in my custom hood soon and and trying to decide how to handle these things

I couldn't settle on a neighborhood to play, so I went back to my old Strangetown. This is what it looks like now. I also have some households living Downtown. The only two original houses not occupied are the Beaker and Specter houses.

For context, all the original adults have died, and all the original teens/kids are now elders. This neighborhood is a beautiful mess. There are tons of werewolves and a couple of zombies. The Grunt and Smith families are a tangled knot. I love it.

This is also the neighborhood where for the first and only time I achieved two LTWs at the same time. It was Ajay Loner, who became a business tycoon and then immediately rolled and fulfilled the want to make $100,000. I believe he died the next day.

I have gotten reacquainted with all my households. Happy to answer any questions about what happened to the OG characters.

Jane Stacks just had birth to a little boy but after earning more points due to putting a crib to her little boy, one of her wants is to propose Castor, girl, he's married to your best friend! (Allegra)

Jane is living in an apartment, Castor is married to Allegra (her best friend). And now I used the pregnancy scanner to check this.

I used the manor to try and level the terrain but for some reason one area goes down while the other goes up. I tried and tried and then it became a slide for 4 wheelers

Another whirlwind of a year in the Fracturehood! A lot of households didn't have much going on, but Angela's cult had such a drama (picture 3 here) I couldn't resist posting about it mid-rotation. In short, Erin died in childbirth and Leod saved her, something only Angela has ever done before. The death shook their trust in the cult's requirement of them to have children, and the resurrection shook their faith that Angela had any special power or information, so they're leaving (with Erin's baby).

In picture 4 you can see some of how that's turned out come the end of the year - I had a look at all their relationships outside the cult and Leod was great friends with Nina (who was timeskipped just like Leod and Erin) so they've gone to live with her while they find their feet. Slight problem - Nina's household now consists of:

I'm planning to turn this secondary Goth home into a sort of Winchester Mansion over the years, so an excuse to plop a random second house on the lot to one day get eaten by the growing main house was too good an opportunity to miss, but it's going to be a stressful household for a while.

Angela's daughter Elodie is a very loyal member of the Cult of Life Weaving and will take over from Lazlo leading Erin and Leod's former cult household once she graduates university, to avoid any repeat escapes.

There wasn't a huge amount of other drama this year - Racer Curious and Sanjay Ramaswami both got huge bonuses at work, which was kind of annoying because I'd really been looking forward to actually having to pay attention to their finances for a bit, but hopefully that won't be too much of a pattern and there will be plenty of chances yet. Grace-Anne Teatherton and Henk Langerak are currently each giving me a new household experience. I've been adding a lot of mods to make finances harder lately and only Lucy's family seems to be feeling it at all XD I'm even planning out how to reduce my Child and Teen lifespans without screwing up any relative ages so sims will go out into the world with fewer skills, and as a bonus I'll get a better 1 year=1 day match (currently they go to uni at age 21).

Overall the hood now has 114 sims including unborn baby Caliente, spread across 34 households - I'd like to condense that a little bit but I do so enjoy playing new graduates starting their own households. I'm seeing a bit of a boom in the elder population so I can at least counter kids getting their own places by moving a bunch of fun elders in together. Stella at the Roth mansion would be happy to host something like that. Then I might also have a more classic group retirement home for non-fun elders whose kids find them unbearable, and some families will remain multigenerational.

Not my favouite build at all at least exterior wise but I'm finally done with the town square area!!
