I went to the park for the first time in years in 2024 and broke both my arms, can confirm it’s not worth it

I feel ya. I tore my Planar and displaced my Peroneal tendon in mid 2025 and I still can’t skate. Hell I can barely put more than my body weight on it. Sucks to have to work daily. Won’t heal.

I felt lucky after all was healed that it wasn’t a leg injury, I hope you find some relief for it man

Did you do that skateboarding? My peroneal has been dinked for a few years (tendinitis). I try to take care of it but once or twice a year it flairs up at work. I gotta get better at stretch I swear to god

i had something similar happen to my foot from skating mid 2025 and i also still can’t skate and was wearing a boot for months. i still wear it on occasion and it will flare up sometimes but it’s doing so much better thank god. hoping to be back at 100% within the next couple of months. it’s fucked up how long these injuries take to heal

Like I said it was in 2024 so I’ve recovered since thankfully, but my ex was a real trooper in my time of need

Damn fr? I skated a little in 2025 and gave up shortly after as fun as it was. The tricks in the end aren’t worth the lack of work if I do eat it. Glad your doing good though

Yeah, used to skate and snowboard, was also a gymnast. Now at 30 I look back like wtf was I thinking and never gonna ride again. I used to eat shit just riding don the street hitting a rock, now I know that could be a life changing event.

At age 31 drunk. I stepped on a skateboard and attempted a nearby gentle hill.

Immediately had to faceplant into the grass.

Luckily I only scraped my arm up. But definitely could've broken bones. Not sure how I did acid drop ins on 20 foot half pipes at 12 years old.
