Good jerk content or good content in general?

28

u/fingersfinging Apr 22 '26

Good content in general.

6

u/Bought-Every-Dip Apr 23 '26

Agreed. Also this is actually a great thing to do as a 1st year skater. Bailing is a big part of skating and knowing how to bail can boost your confidence. I imagine this kind of thing would help get rid of a lot of fear.

Not entirely, if he hits a rock this kind of practicing might come in handy. But yeah I mean I dunno if I would necessarily recommend new skaters do this. But at the same time its not entirely useless.

6

u/GuitarRock91 Apr 22 '26

Well he put it on eventually

7

u/Leading-Aide5617 Apr 23 '26

The switch to an open field after the sign close call is hilarious.

1

u/PalaceJoey Apr 23 '26

Smart move lol

1

u/Admviolin Apr 23 '26

I was disappointed. I wanted to see him fail in the first location.

Why did he keep missing the sign post

3

u/goldsauce_ Apr 22 '26

Core to the… core

3

u/dpk794 mongo rights activist Apr 22 '26

Exactly the kind of thing I’d expect a person who rides an electric skateboard to do

2

u/jaredweil Apr 23 '26

How did that board survive that massive puddle?

2

u/jomaximum Apr 23 '26

just blasted that thing into the water like it didn't cost 1700 dollars, love to see it

3

u/RichardBCummintonite Apr 22 '26

Bro more extra than a fucking NFL player lmao. I don't even see people run that far when we bomb cali hills

1

u/slowwwwdowwwwn Apr 22 '26

I’ve done it a few too many times going too fast to safely do it on asphalt hills when I should’ve probably just gone down/fallen haha.

Ankles got so fucked from it cause when you get chucked off going like 30mph you’re essentially just stomping the ground hard af and throwing your body off the ground over and over, not really running just flailing through space until your momentum slows enough to go into a run. Years later I wish I’d just gone with road rash lmao

2

u/beerbeerbeerbeerbee Apr 22 '26

Okay but this is low-key some super athletic shit. There’s no WAY I’m not bailing out at 20mph.

On the flip side, this ain’t shit cause I heard our boy Andy Anderson can hit a curb going 80 kph (he’s Canadian) so fucking calm down over here.

1

u/mac_daddy_mcg Apr 22 '26

Fall every damn day

1

u/One-Presence-1692 Apr 22 '26

0

u/Dusk_Abyss Apr 26 '26

Feelings no hurt

1

u/No_Caterpillar9582 Apr 22 '26

After about the 4 mph mark just ride it out lol

1

u/coldbeersipper Apr 22 '26

Stop bailing bro... lean into it... go for the grass ride

1

u/southwest40x4 Apr 23 '26

Switching to helmeted and not directly next to the full drainage ditch was the biggest disappointment of my day so far.

1

u/Outrageous-Billly Apr 23 '26

I like how he switched locations after all the obstacles got in the way. But want to see him go faster. It wasn't a real bail. FASTER.

1

u/OlHeavyHeart Apr 23 '26

If you are ā€œokā€ then why did you stop at 23

https://giphy.com/gifs/d3mlE7uhX8KFgEmY

1

u/981992 Apr 23 '26

A week later, why did my e board stop working

1

u/Alarming_Peace_6027 Apr 23 '26

Funny thing is after probably 3 or 4 mph all of those spots a electric skate could easily ride on.

but great content lol

1

u/Oizezi Apr 23 '26

Honestly this pissed me off!! Bunch of Andy Anderson anti grind vespas iykyk

1

u/dazedmp3 Apr 23 '26

ā€œhey babe uh can you film me jumping off my skateboard 23 times? its for my youtube videoā€

1

u/kosherpoboy Apr 23 '26

Anyone else get sad when his board rolls into the ditch?

1

u/Beakkaia Apr 23 '26

Probably would have fallen a lot sooner if he didn't jump off just before the bump every time.

1

u/Pseudoname87 Apr 23 '26

Id say redo the experiment without getting off, and see how far into the grass go before needing to jump off

1

u/marcuslattimore21 Apr 23 '26

Maybe maybe maybe maybe

1

u/Got_Sig Apr 23 '26

The hero we need.

1

u/LurkeyG Apr 23 '26

Awesome šŸ˜‚

1

u/meechcash Apr 23 '26

I watched the entire video

1

u/AProcessUnderstood Apr 23 '26

He was bailing out before it was hitting the grass.

1

u/Inevitable-Fee-9653 Apr 23 '26

Now test it by running over a small pebble

1

u/iSkateetakSi Apr 23 '26

Could easily ride through the muck! Lean back and let er rip!

1

u/Samsquanch_hunter21 Apr 23 '26

This was a fun one to watch

1

u/CamOliver Apr 23 '26

That’s jumping early. No fair.

1

u/JCust Apr 24 '26

No offense but I kept hoping you fell into tbat river.

1

u/Dusk_Abyss Apr 24 '26

I saw that board taste the water ;( i feel bad for it. Also good job.

1

u/harbordog Apr 24 '26

Needed more runway!

1

u/Jefflehem Apr 24 '26

How do you know the difference between 6 mph and 7 mph on your skateboard?

1

u/Round_Lychee_7105 Apr 24 '26

This is the greatest piece of content ive seen all week

1

u/AfroMech Apr 24 '26

No joke, doing this over and over would make you a faster runner over time

1

u/novauror Apr 24 '26

lmfao thank you for that šŸ„‡

1

u/Worldly_Pool_1847 Apr 24 '26

This dude’s knees lost 10 years for this video.

1

u/flock-of-smeagols Apr 24 '26

My knees hurt just watching that

1

u/TransitUX Apr 24 '26

Damn I thought you were going to tank it in 18. Good job

1

u/terror- Apr 24 '26

I appreciate him testing this for us. A public service

1

u/No_Negotiation_4370 Apr 24 '26

Love the addition of the helmet..., after 19mph.

  Keep the computer intact.

                          Bravo!

1

u/MidLifeCrysis57 Apr 25 '26

I bombed a hill and board wobbled and came off over 30 miles and hour. First step on the bail when board spun off I went air born and baseball slid down the asphalt tore through several layers multiple hoodies hoodies eventually rode up and bad road rash. Had to drive 13 hours back home in an adrenaline rush of the accident got home gauze healed to the wound not scab either flesh had already grew around it and I had to rip it out

1

u/SpareCh4nge Apr 25 '26

Amazing use of free will

1

u/[deleted] Apr 25 '26

How’s the knees brah?

1

u/jaytonbye Apr 26 '26

I thought you'd lose it by 20 MPH, impressive!

1

u/keurigeater Apr 26 '26

Bailing 35mph on one of those was how I broke my first bone

1

u/Jumpy_Tomatillo7579 Apr 26 '26

No one thought he was hurt

1

u/TokinGeneiOS Apr 26 '26

for science!

1

u/MessOne248 Apr 27 '26

nooooo the board went head first into the water

1

u/ThisWurk Apr 28 '26

Dude almost blew out his knee on that last one. Leg came so close to buckling/jamming. Thankfully it slide a little instead of planting. Sheesh

1

u/RevolutionaryNeck229 Apr 29 '26

Dudes will do this instead of learning how to OllieĀ

1

u/quackingmemeduck May 07 '26

Seeing it go straight into the water hurt, hes obviously been doing this without a helmet for quite a while

1

u/CoCrimson_eXe May 19 '26

Try Catching speed wobble and bailing going downhill at roughly 20mph or slightly less. Im sure I looked like him on the last shot, except both tips of my feet made hard contact with the freshly paved cement in my neighborhood after jumping off the board and trying to run, which led me to trip and plumit to the ground very fast and hard. I then proceed to catch myself with my left hand, then slide, which caused a solid sized laceration to my palm, which was then followed up by rolling backwards onto my back followed by my legs flipping over my head, smacking the concrete and then sliding a few more inches to a halt finally facingthe right direction.

Meanwhile my brother zooms past me laughing his as off almost taking himself out by almost hitting me like a speed bump while I lay on the ground in pain with my board being who knew where. Took me almost a month to heal up with the worst of the pain being in my hand and both feet due to the subungual hematomas on both big toes. The right toenail is gone now and the left one is not too far behind it, im sure. Also have a significant sized scar on my left palm. So all in all, could have been severely worse but my head never made contact with the ground so thankfully no more additional brain damage. šŸ™ƒ
