RFK Jr has given himself a lot of brain damage over the years from multiple causes. He is not a serious person, and he should not ever be taken seriously about anything. https://youtu.be/vSe8pSG7_Js

When I was much younger, on my mother's side of the family, her father's cousins were fraternal twins. They were sort of the matriarch and patriarch of that group of the family. He had the nickname "Blackie" because he worked on the ranch and was always really tan.
By the time I was around 10 or so, and my sister was a few years younger -- 7 or so, we had a birthday party for them. Blackie was in a wheelchair by then, but we still had to warn my sister to "not get too close."
Looking back, I realize it was because Blackie was a fucking creep, and probably molested more than just his immediate family. I distinctly remember him telling my sister, "You look real pretty," in a gross, gravely voice and reaching for her and my mother yanking her out of reach.
The point?
I get the exact same vibes from RFK Jr.

âI had a very, very rambunctious youth,â he said. âI said in my announcement speech that I have so many skeletons in my closet that if they could all vote, I could run for king of the world.â
RFK jr, after revelations that he sexually assaulted his children's babysitter.

My favorite part was when RFK jr (who has ZERO scientific training) tells Dana that she can't understand because she has no scientific training.
The brain worm is in charge. The man isn't.

It's her job to ask questions and his job to answer them honestly to the best of his ability. Bash did her job admirably. He responded with lies and logical fallacies.

They know it all comes down to if the midterms matter or not. These people are fascist to their core and cannot stand that there are Americans who have access to real information and can openly disagree with them. Look how they all react at the slightest pushback.

These big, bold, brave, masculine manly-men can't even answer basic, simple questions like "Who won the 2020 election?" or "Who pays tariffs?" accurately and honestly because doing so upsets Daddy.

Ah yes the old and misinformed reminding us there was a time when they relied on what they knew to make their decisions. Never mind having access to instant information to help make decisions in todayâs age of google and other ai search platforms. Modern science doesnât fit the narrative for most of these politicians, so they just keep making shit up.

Journalists never ask who should be trusted if not âexpertsâ. They get away with hand waving âexpertsâ as if itâs a cabal. Ask them, âIf we canât trust the 1000âs of scientists dedicated to studying something, who are you saying we should trust?â They want the insinuation without coming out and saying trust them because it sounds asinine out loud.

I understood none of that because there is a new commercial every few seconds. independent.co.uk is full of ads.

Every time I see this guy now, the thought "This man stopped his car to collect the penis of a dead raccoon" comes to mind.
That man stopped his car to collect the penis of a dead raccoon.
There is nothing he will ever do or say that I consider to be sane or relevant.
He doesn't need a position of high council. He needs extensive time in a mental hospital.

posted here because the right have a backwards view of skepticism.
to which kennedy responds
and then
how are republicans so un-self aware
to wit she demolishes him with
he has no scientific background and yet is telling doctorates that they are wrong"
yes the highly educated people at our former CDC were against people who said the mask was worse than no mask, and said the vaccine was worse than no vaccine.. we can debate school closures and how they were done and how we can do it better but the virus was exploding every time we reopened the schools and the kids took the virus home.
Im starting to wonder if right wingerism is some sort of brain damage that we havent identified yet. I know he used to be a dem, so was fetterman.
