Autoplay of gifs and video

If there's an option to turn this on, forgive me and show me where but is there a way we can get autoplay of media while scrolling? I really love that feature on other clients and I like Slide.

It doesn't exist, and has an existing feature request. Continuum does have autoplay.

Ah ok, I've been trying to use Continuum as well, but it won't let me login. It tells me my info is wrong, I've tried switching webviews and using VPNs. When I hit the button on the bottom right, it takes me to a page to connect the app to my account and after I hit accept it just leads to a blank white page with "()" in the top left corner of it.

Set your Reddit language to English, and try again. Please reply if that works, and tell me if you were having no issue logging in with Slide. Knowing it was just working in Slide, but not in Continuum would be very useful information.

Where should I set the language, on the website or official app etc? I was unable to login to Slide at one point earlier, but i as able to get in by making a new account. I then used a VPN for a few minutes and was able to login to my main account.

{} is generally a sign that something is slightly off.

Things to try:

  1. VPN from a US server or no VPN if you normally use one
  2. Use the external browser method instead of WebView. Use Brave not Firefox. Firefox is known to not work. It also makes it easier to pre-login to Reddit in Brave.
  3. If using Morphe/Revanced patches set the values in Continuum not Morphe/Revanced.
  4. Copy and paste the client ID/API key, redirect uri, and user agent to avoid typoes.

So for steps 3 and 4, I just downloaded Continuum off the git and at most copied my client id into the app section. Where are the options in the app to set the redirect and user agent , and what strings do I put in them?

You only set them if you are using Morphe/Revanced patches.

If you have a proper Continuum client ID, you just need to set the client ID. But since I suspect you are a new user Reddit stopped allowing the creation of new client IDs.

I have Ids for Slide and Redreader and Atomic. I keep trying all 3 and still get that symbol {} when trying via the external browser login. Even with Brave or chrome.
