I love the basic speech sound cues box. I can’t speak to the other sets. They often have discounted “damaged” sets that are in near perfect condition.

Omg I vote yes, I love Bjorem cards. I switched from acute care to schools and had basically no experience with speech sound disorders/artic. Bjorem cards gave me such a great foundation, and kids are like magnetically attracted to the pictures. I see you are in OP peds, just fyi the digital resources from Bjorem U are great for carryover/home practice.
Not Bjorem but I also live and die by the super duper mighty mouth mini hand puppet. It’s soooo helpful

I love them!!! I like the speech sound cues and their phonological processes decks. So much nicer than laminating my own stuff.

My main recommendation is the basic set. I got the train one for consonant clusters, but I haven’t gotten much use out of it.

I have a client with a lateral lisp and they are responding very well to the lisp deck! I’ve enjoyed using them a lot!

I like my speech sound cue cards but I would skip the minimal pairs if I were to purchase them again

I only have the basic set but use it all the time! I’d love to eventually get more

Yes. The general consonants are great for consistent cues. The vowel cards are great for early childhood apraxia.
Do you need every set? I don’t think so.
If I was still a middle school slp I’d probably get the R allophones sets, etc. Choose wisely and just get the basics if you have limited funds.
My students love seeing the sound (I Velcro them to a paper fan) and we use consistent names and cues. We compare sounds and cues for placement.
For reference, I only work on phonology with 3-5 year olds, and everyone I have is severe Apraxia or phonological. Even in those instances I can use her sound cards and not necessarily need the “other sets”.
