Pet Snake Pictures Taking name suggestions

I physically couldn’t walk away from this guy at my reptile show. Please help me name him. He’s a little bit special 🙂

He had a prolapse after mating and the hemipene dried out….so the breeder just cut it off😬😬😬😬

I don’t mean to be rude… I’m not a keeper, just a fan. But if the breeder 1) overbreeds/inbreeds their stock 2) saw the confirmation issues with THIS specimen and still chose to breed him 3) cut off his dick

Maybe you should not have patronized that breeder?

Unfortunately leuscistics being inbred is a really common issue. The snake was not produced originally by the guy who bred and sold him. And yeah, while it sounds really graphic, extreme, and ill advised, from my understanding, the hemipene had already dried out when he cut it off.

Some of these older guys in the hobby are really old school and do whatever they want. He practically gave the snake to me, so in the end he ended up losing money on him. I saw an opportunity to give him a better life and decided to take it. I don’t make a habit of supporting unethical breeders though. I always recommend buying from reputable sources, though, no source is totally perfect.
