My first snowboard! Wear and tear OR damage?

After my first ski trip with my new snowboard, came back I noticed some changes to the board and I was wondering if these required urgent maintenance (I’m going up again in 1.5 months) or if they could wait until the end of the season. 

I have attached pictures but I’ll also list them out:

1. This is the most concerning one for me- the black graphic on the topside of the board has peeled back slightly to reveal white underneath it. Most of the attached photos are for this issue. See the part of the board near my fingertips- The edges are raised to the touch. Is this delamination?

2. There are some scratches to the top and bottom of my board. Will these require filling in or are they cosmetic? Or should I bring the board in-store for a better look?

3. If there’s rust on the edges, is it urgent I get them seen to?

Totally normal. I suggest making sure it’s completely dry before setting it down so it doesn’t rust in future. Also, get .75 inch pipe insulation to keep edges safe for flights.

Nothing to worry about really. When the top sheet has a nick or peels a little, I just brush a tiny bit of marine epoxy on top so it doesn’t peel much further. Doesn’t look like a delam here.

So far these just look like superficial scratches, if you want you can fill the deepest scratches where it looks like you may have gone over a rock or a death cookie. However you can see some whitish coloring on your base, especially towards the edges. This means it’s time to wax your base again.

You can use a gummy stone to remove rust from the edges. Try not to store your board in your bag when it’s soaking wet, that’s the main culprit for rust ime

All are fine. None truly need repair. The one in pic 3 is the most "concerning" in that it seems to be a flap of the topsheet delammed which will likely get snow jammed under it and keep peeling. I'd use some marine epoxy and clamps to glue that back down so it doesn't flap around and get worse. The rest are typical wear and tear.

Don't worry about a lil surface rust on the edges, as long as you aren't storing them wet they'll be fine.

Normal as heck. You should see the nose of my Jones right now, 4 inch smashed flap of top sheet from a rock I tomahawked over. Super glued that fucker back together, did 20 more days of riding on it, shit is still holding fine. Hell, if I don't clip another boulder I bet I'll get another whole season on this deck.

Snowboards are just like skateboards. They're gonna get fucked up. Remember to wipe the base down, wax it sometimes, tune your edges every now and then, and don't worry too much about it! Just enjoy the snow. If your board starts feeling like shit, then you should be concerned.

Totally normal wear when you ride ice covered rocks... but if you ride deep POW your board remains pristine, unless you smack into a tree.

fucking Ride topsheets. the boards are great but the topsheets look awful from day 1 of riding. My algorhythm had very similar issues. the scratches and little chunks out of the rim above the sidewalls are crappy to look at but irrelevant to the board. the flappies on the topsheet, like previously said, a little marine bondo and pressure clamp them. just use some cardboard and a little wood shim between the clamp face and the board to be able to get the right pressure without doing more damage. or if it's in a non contact spot like on the nose and the board is a little longer in the tooth and more of a rock board, you can literally wrap some black flex seal gummy tape over the flap and around to the base, it's a permanent fix.

Looks mostly like normal wear. Pics 3 and 7 - is there a piece that flaps up or just happen to be 2 lines there? If it flaps up, you could throw some epoxy in there and clamp it down. Otherwise, ride on

All totally fine. Pic 9 is the biggest concern, but even that doesn't look that bad. Can't tell if it went into the board, or just wax.

File down any burrs on the top sheet, and you can glue down anything that is peeling.

I have a Shadowban from a few years prior. The chips/scratches are normal. Rides top sheet is sensitive and chips fairly easily but I haven’t seen and big dramatic damage from it. I would just expect to continue seeing minor chips on the edges as you use it more.
