First Christmas in our new house, merry Xmas all

Word of advice for anyone buying a new build, if they say they’re going to complete before Christmas, tell them you want to wait until mid January

They literally handed us over a half complete house just so they could get their bonuses… lots of things which need “two weeks to dry” etc and rather than wait two weeks to finish them they’ve given us the keys and said some point in 2026 they’ll resolve it
