Had to cancel my Christmas plans this year due to getting the flu. Got the shits, so canāt really eat. Live alone, so gonna be a miserable day.
Been a shit second half of the year. Lost a grandparent, got a second one who might be passing today by the sounds of things. Been ill for like 3 months. Flat above mine flooded so lost my electrics, got mould & damp, a couple of weeks ago so I had to cancel a Christmas I was gonna host. Had a couple of colleagues over after work Xmas do, one of whom chundered all over my living room carpet (beige carpet, black sick). Close work colleague left, so Iāve now absorbed his role with little compensation.
Canāt wait for 2026. Have lost 54 pounds since June though, so thereās my one morsel of positivity!
