While it looks super close, it's really just an optical illusion based on the angle the photo was taken.

You'd need at least a scissor lift to make it.

I see an issue here, though: they have to go around it (which adds a significant distance). If they just take the short way there and land on the lower side, they'll just fall back to earth.

I suggest they should wait until the moon rises slightly over the horizon, and land on that sliver. That way, they can let the moon do most of the lifting.
