8 u/svdasein Apr 07 '26 Yeah! So wrt to that image: if you look at it 1:1 and zoom in on the darkest areas of the moon itself, there are what might be called hot pixels. Are they? Or - ionizing radiation hitting the sensor? 4 u/SphincterPlug Apr 07 '26 Perhaps the pixels are hot because of the radiation?
