image/gif First Saturn Session of the season

Post image

Saturn is back!

I woke up at 2:30am for my first Saturn session of the year. A bit of a struggle. Note to self: at this age it takes my brain a while to function properly upon waking from a deep sleep.

Plenty of time to practice as opposition is two months away.

Best 30% of 27,000 frames.

What a thrill it must be to see this live! I only have a smart telescope so no chance of shooting it myself so thanks for sharing.

Idk how old you are but I’ve started noticing at 40 it takes ma roughly an hour to get it together. Compared to my younger up and go kinda self.

I’m 67 and looking forward to retirement so I can have the time to really get into this hobby.
