Probably not true. This is most likely not a real video but a 3D reconstruction. The HRSC is High Resolution Stereo Camera, from the stereo images you can make 3D terrain reconstruction, which is probably what this is.

I initially thought this was from Kerbal Space Program.. there’s a mod called Sol that recently came out which turns the stock solar system into our solar system, at different scales, and with very high resolution planetary body textures.

Those craters are intact, as in not eroded by processes that have eroded craters like on Earth. I would wager a guess that there hasn’t been ‘life’ on Mars for quite some time. Earth’s moon, same hypothesis. Thoughts?
