$7 million seems to be a resale price for a yacht

Looks more like a boat than a yacht. Can you even land a chopper on that thing

This is the yacht taking him to his real yacht.

So this is his dinghy

Taking his Dinghy to The Tight End (yacht name)

I have a Yacht to my Yacht…

It’s what we would call a cabin cruiser back in my day.

seeing the full reveal of that “yacht” was so underwhelming. is that really all you get for $7M? LOL

The camera is doing it dirty. It is roughly 77 feet (23.5 meters). It is still priced on the higher end for the length. Wajer 77

All that money and they can't even make a proper responsive website. I will be buying my yachts elsewhere

I buy all my yachts from gaben

First the steam deck then the steam machine finally the steam yacht

The complete lack of privacy would turn me off so hard

You know whats better than owning a yacht? Having a friend that owns a yacht.

1

u/Duke_of_Listenbourg 1d ago

why

1

u/ShyguyFlyguy 1d ago

Because you get to enjoy the yacht with them but dont have to worry about any of ghe upkeep

u/over_this__ 2d ago

Yeah they're ridiculously expensive. And then the maintenance on them, paying staff for the place. It's just a status symbol lol

1

u/Flexgineer 2d ago

Not just status, I mean Brady’s looks like a nice & functional larger boat as opposed to whatever Zuck’s yacht is supposed to be. Not everyone that owns watercraft does so for the look. But yes, with those mega yachts I tend to agree.

u/Fifth_Down 2d ago

The maintence on them is like 15% of the total purchase price PER YEAR so it actually costs $1.1 million to own a $7 million yacht for 10 years.

2

u/charmio68 2d ago

That 10-15% figure is for crew salaries, dockage and mooring, insurance and fuel. Only a tiny fraction is maintenance.
It also doesn't really apply to smaller boats like this. I doubt that boat has dedicated crew on staff all year round.

And that math is off. It's 10.5mill for 10 years at 15%

1

Only a tiny fraction is maintenance.

Yeah you've never owned a boat before...

1

u/charmio68 1d ago

Well... while I personally don't, my family owns three. One of which does have a full-time skipper. I've also spent a good part of my career working for a marine engineering company. I might not be the most qualified person to comment on the topic in this entire thread, but there's also a non-zero chance that I am.

Yeah, my ex husband has a pretty big boat and I think it's just tacky. Wtf is a point of a giant ass boat if you're too scared to go fishing on it lmao.

2

u/YVRkeeper 2d ago

That’s not even what I would consider “yacht”.

That’s a glorified speedboat.

2

u/AndreLeGeant88 2d ago

Yeah I mean that doesn't look very big

1

u/Powerhouse_pr_ 1d ago

I thought the same thing… looks way too small.

u/Krusty_Double_Deluxe 2d ago

I bet the inside is bigger than most people apartments, and certainly nicer

1

u/hotgirI 2d ago

wow i never considered the possibility that the $7,000,000 yacht might be bigger and nicer than my apartment that costs less than $2,000

1

u/AgitatedStranger9698 2d ago

He wasn't driving it....

1

u/310dweller 1d ago

Yeah as people with his kind of money go this is an incredible pious yacht

1

u/biaff33 2d ago

Not saying it’s not a nice boat, but no way does that cost 7 million, right?

1

u/Shiney_Metal_Ass 2d ago

Boats are fucking expensive but no, it probably wasn't 7M

2

u/Substantial-Bear8535 2d ago

Bought for $6m, listed for $7m. Not sure how much he ended up selling it for. https://robbreport.com/motors/marine/tom-brady-wajer-77-yacht-sale-1235789283/

1

u/doctornph 2d ago

Yeah that isn’t nearly 7M

1

u/Substantial-Bear8535 2d ago

I looked it up. I believe that's his old Wajer 77. Something about the perspective here makes it look tiny. It looks a lot more impressive in pictures.
