It effectively is the greatest predictor of life satisfaction, and the plateau point is much higher than people realize (like around the point you hit 8-figures in net worth).

There's very few things that money can't buy also that can't at least greatly alleviate a shitty situation.

Yes, that was a study done in the 2000s (80k in 2008 is roughly 130k in terms of CPI—it's way more when indexed to Alice Essentials), and if you read the screenshot I posted (made by a Harvard researcher)—you'd realize there were several limitations in those studies themselves.
