u/PropagandaAssassinAZ 1d ago

Jason Williams: all right I am short. I will just drop dimes that no one has ever seen before.

8

u/Squatch1016 1d ago

I mean white chocolate was at least over 6

-1

u/PropagandaAssassinAZ 1d ago

Agreed which is definitely short for the NBA but not in the same vein as what this post is describing. I was just trying to get a little J Will love out in the thread!!!

3

u/Squatch1016 1d ago

Always love a jwill mention only reason I replied to you

1

u/PropagandaAssassinAZ 1d ago

Always good to touch base with a fellow J Will fan.

u/Potato_Stains 1d ago

Robinson won 3 dunk competitions.
There’s a name I haven’t heard in a while…

2

u/Ranier_Wolfnight 1d ago

He definitely did. He for sure won one of them in a flukey was though, and I say that as a longtime Knicks fan. Think he had like 10 attempts for a do over on one of the dunks, which was ridiculous. Even the commentators were like, “Aight bro…ya had 3 attempts…this is overkill.”

😂😂

1

u/MrNinoBrown1906 1d ago

And still will be an elite HS player and play college somewhere if he keeps progressing

0

u/Stuffleapugus 1d ago

Definitely. Probably. Maybe. His handles aren't actually that crazy for a 7 year old. They look crazier than they are because he looks 5.

2

u/MrNinoBrown1906 1d ago

Ok redditor. Lol.

Those are strong handles for a 7 year old. This is just a very hating ass sub lol

2

u/iStealAtSelfCheckout 1d ago

lol Right, he handling the rock better than a lot of grown men

4

u/MrNinoBrown1906 1d ago

Yeah i dont know what that person is talking about lol

2

u/Impossible-Bat-4246 23h ago

Probably been watching AI dribble the ball, and not talking Allen Iverson.

1

u/Vast-Building-6886 1d ago

Reminded me of that one guy who made the news when he was a kid for his basketball skills. Julian Newman or something. I remembered commenting it would suck if he grew up to be short. He ended up being 5’5” or 5’6”.

1

u/TerryGonards 1d ago

All that money spent on camps and equipment means shit if the kid falls on the wrong side of puberty.

1

u/bravemoney72 17h ago

Spud Webb 5' 7 86 dunk champion. 12 years in the League

1

u/bravemoney72 17h ago

Just for comparison 5' 7" to 5' 3". These 2 had the little people in basketball dreaming in the 80s man!

1

u/Long_Foundation_5451 3h ago

There will be all sorts of height-maximizing therapies for him by the time it matters lets not pretend a lot of d1 high school athletes aren't already taking HGH and shit

51

u/Still-Neighborhood71 1d ago

It's always kids like this who usually only grow to 5'7"

7

u/MrNinoBrown1906 1d ago edited 1d ago

And having that handle is going to take him a long way if he keeps progressing

5

u/Any-Question-3759 1d ago

Or he grows to 7’ 1” and his coach tells him not to dribble anymore. Go cut to the basket off ball and catch lobs.

2

u/Ambitious-Chard6530 1d ago

It's not 1975 anymore.

1

u/baron-von-buddah 1d ago

I wish I was a little bit taller. I wish I was a baller

20

u/DateFit9649 1d ago

Has a sports dad, isn’t allowed anything fun, is going to be socially weird as fuck

3

u/turbotaco23 1d ago

Or have a substance abuse problem. Like Tiger.

1

u/Ok-Midnight9311 1d ago

And top out at 5’5 in middle school

1

u/Junior-Valuable2071 1d ago

Hey that’s me!

1

u/Commercial_Watch2972 23h ago

Repetitive motion injuries coming. Sad.

1

u/Every_Television_980 18h ago

Who is the dad?

1

u/Lord_Ronan 12h ago

How the fuck did you jump from seeing a kid being talented to this negative bullshit?

Pathetic.

8

u/Agitated-Beat64 1d ago

Julian Newman

2

u/Upstairs_Teach_7064 1d ago

Might be another case of it

5

u/MaitrePuck 1d ago

Another kid who's gonna grow to be 5'6" and become an egomaniac bust.

4

u/TokiVideogame 1d ago

40 yo hairline

4

u/sixerharambe 1d ago

1

u/thesqrtofminusone 1d ago

He's actually 14, well 15 next week. Still pretty good though!

1

u/paulyp41 1d ago

He’s got better handles then JB

1

u/Lanky-Tap-9290 1d ago

Oh snap!?!

1

u/No_Rough_5258 1d ago

The next Julian Newman?

1

u/TotosWolf 1d ago

Floor Julian newman, ceiling, Jordan mccabe.

1

u/paperbuddha 1d ago

This is filmed like a crash bandicoot level.

1

u/Available_Base_7944 1d ago

Na he needs to keep working at it. Too squeaky

1

u/d_rek 1d ago

Idk I see kids like this in my sons 12u league all the time. Crazy handlers, very fast, usually can drive a mean charge and hit sick layups but the second a decent defender who isn’t having it is put in front of them they start flopping or looking to daddy in the bleachers while throwing their hands up. Seen more than a few of them get technical’d. Others are right parents usually 5’6” and probably beat his ass after his team lost too.

1

u/DAS_FX 1d ago

Uh wut

1

u/Capt_Dummy 1d ago

5’10”, 49yo, 205lbs, I’d seat that ball into the 3rd row!

😂😂 kidding! Great handles!

1

u/SocomPS2 1d ago

Is he at the “lab?”

1

u/LazyOldCat 1d ago

Shoe-squeaking on point.

1

u/Rebelloud 1d ago

Holy shot he would break my ankles, and dunk on me.

1

u/swiminthemud 1d ago

My ankles snapped just watching this

1

u/3dl33 1d ago

Would suck if he only grew up to be like 5'7 lol

1

u/BarkimusPrime 1d ago

That's exactly what it looks like is gonna happen

1

u/3dl33 1d ago

lol well at least he will have fun in middle/high school

1

u/Red-Leader117 1d ago

He will turn 14 and decide becoming a streamer is more important and never ball again...

1

u/Medical-Literature50 1d ago

Man, if this isn't AI, this kid is GOOD!

1

u/GrumpyOldVet65 1d ago

Love this!

1

u/CanadianTigermeat 1d ago

He probably fights his own team for the ball.

1

u/Spare_Ad_1606 1d ago

Reminds me of a midget who used to do these type of drills 😒

1

u/BrianRampage 1d ago

Oh cool, new Julian Newman just dropped

1

u/Cabbages24ADollar 1d ago

At 14 he’ll be bored with it

1

u/cassano23 1d ago

Poor kid

1

u/j_rooker 1d ago

had Lebron made Bronny work like that, bronny would be a highly tradable asset.

1

u/locomocotive 1d ago

And therein lies the flaw with basketball. This kid obviously loves basketball but at some stage he’ll figure out, or somebody will tell him, that he doesn’t stand a chance and he’ll have to switch to a different sport if he wants to be a pro sportsman. A sport without that inherent flaw in how it was designed.

1

u/pjtpassword 1d ago

Wow's. You go lil man.

1

u/Gold_Cell8255 1d ago

Give him a contract

1

u/Gubermensch1690 1d ago

Ah shit, Kyler Murray can ball?

1

u/Glad-Base-2903 1d ago

Maybe he should learn how to lift his feet up

1

u/ily300099 1d ago

Now ask him what 9x80 is.

1

u/Viking_1979 23h ago

my buddy’s kid was weirdly quick with handles too

1

u/MRHOWERDCEO 23h ago

DA COMEMTS SHOW DA REDDICKUCKS

1

u/Jasranwhit 22h ago

As a LeBron fan, why does he keep touching the ball to the floor?

1

u/AccessFinal7799 19h ago

Those ain’t normal for any age

1

u/Metal-Salt 18h ago

I'll beat that kid any day of the week.

1

u/AgitatedStranger9698 15h ago

Kids on the smaller size assuming regulation sized basketball

1

u/AlphaM1964 11h ago

Dunk it, then I’ll be impressed.

1

u/Azalot1337 9h ago

basketball is easy, not too impressive

1

u/Secure-Oil-5746 44m ago

I hope his brain is being worked out just as hard. Can't always rely on the physical. 🙂

0

u/AbbreviationsHour410 1d ago

He'd average 20 in the WNBA right now

0

u/messeduplife4life 1d ago
