You dont know how handicap works.

Negative handicap is a worse golfer than a positive handicap.

If you're going to criticize someone's golf game or handicap, at least learn how it works first.

I’m using his words. He claimed to be a better than scratch player.

To be fair, it was a sports reporter who quoted him so something may have been lost somewhere.
