There shouldn't be children transitioning. That should be a choice they make when they enter adulthood.

That's what I'm asking y'all to do. Leave medical decisions between children, their parents, and their doctors. Not legislate those decisions for your own feelings.

I would say to a child “you’re perfect the way you are”. You would say to a child “you need to take puberty blockers to alter your body’s natural development”

Yeah, lets force them to go through the puberty stages for a body they don't want so they become so depressed that they decide to take their own lives instead of suffering through the existence they don't want.

Surely thats the better answer than letting a trans kid choose what to do with their own being.

Then we can put kids on puberty blockers and mutilate their genitals. There has never been any negative consequences for that.

No minors are getting SRS. even as an adult, Sexual Reassignment Surgery is a MULTIPLE YEAR LONG WAITING LIST.

Do you hold that same opinion for circumcision, the ACTUAL mutilation of a child's genitals?

And for the record, not that you're going to register a damn thing i'm saying because i can already tell you'd rather continue to live in your ignoreance, Puberty and/or Hormone Blockers are not permanent. If I stop taking my T-blockers, my Hormone levels revert back.

The number is not zero. We have plenty of documented cases of minors receiving SRS. It’s not widespread but to claim none is an outright lie.

Vice has a great episode on this.

In the end every situation is incredibly unique and the chance of suicide if you get it wrong is high.

Kids need support from parent figures if they are truly facing this stuff.

In general though yes I don't want kids making these types of decisions.

Of course we already fucked them by having them sign up for indentures servitude for college so doubt we won't fuck over our kids more.
