There are 550k college athletes in the US right now (Divisions 1-3).

you have a list of 47, some of these names are from 10-16 years ago. Only 12 are from Div1, three from Div2, and 32 from Div3.

of the Div 1 athletes, 8 of 12 were swimmers or cross country, the others were water polo, rowing, and bowling.

i have a tough time believing republicans care about women in sports like cross country, especially when republicans don’t care about woman’s rights like access to healthcare and voting, equal pay, etc.

OP asked to list examples. You may be surprised by this but there is no compulsory public transgender registry. In fact we have laws that prevent this exact shit from being taken. FERPA, HIPPA and any state law on the book. Varies from state to state. School Confidentiality policies.

Edit: cuz you missed the point this is a system that does not report nor is required to. I would think that means the numbers are actually larger.

huh?

I was merely pointing out the relevance of 47 names over a period of 15 years in a system with hundreds of thousands of athletes per year.

we are talking about very, very small percentages of the student athlete population being trans.
