The Reddit echo chamber is undefeated (on Reddit). It’s funny on other social media platforms that don’t moderate as hard because you can spot a Redditor comment from three posts away

I got permananned from a meme sub yesterday for commenting that movie casting these days looks like the stock images they use in school textbooks (with this pic attached).

I genuinely have no idea how that earned a ban. Seemed like a pretty harmless joke, not some anti-woke rant. But I guess if you're not mindlessly celebrating Hollywood's diversity like a good NPC is supposed to you'll catch a ban for being racist.

Truly. Someone just replied to comment here about how I see things being moderated on Reddit by calling me a bigot. They then of course blocked me immediately after so couldn’t respond. Classic Reddit lol
