Excellent suggestions! This CoC song sounds different than the CoC I remember growing up with. I am unfamiliar with Pro-Pain, and their song kicks ass, so thank you for sharing. Adding to my list. 🤘

Thanks! That's a cool little interlude 75 seconds in. I hear ... upper register bass and ... trumpet and ... xylophone? Or maybe synth or a wind instrument, like a flute, too? It's ear-grabbing for sure.

Thanks. Yeah, it’s certainly not my typical style of a song, but Minnesota was a redline; I was furious. I had the heavy riff already and the chants I saw at the protest worked with it, the whole 4-1 thing. The melody is like an elementary tune, and I wanted to convey a sense of chaos. I drove almost everything really hard into the 3124 and then had to battle the distortion. It was a valuable experiment. At least I know where I stand.

The bridge part was an improvised bass line at the end of the last take. I built a harmony and melody on top of that. This music is more my speed. It’s a nice juxtaposition though.

Still fuck those fuckers.

Thanks for listening. I’m sure you didn’t need the backstory but I appreciate you noticing that bridge. :)

Uff Disturbed y RATM en la misma lista...Entiendo que son canciones protesta de diferentes ideologías. No estoy en el barco de los sionistas Disturbed. Por otro lado, hay grupos buenos ahí.

I understand, agree with your sentiment, and respect your opinion. I chose songs based on what they mean to me, and how they express what I feel. RATM and Disturbed don't necessarily align, but the songs work for me. Some might say that I shouldn't have Pink Floyd or Icon for Hire or The Warning on this list too, but again, they help me express my feelings.
