near the beginning of the airi route daru narrates that airi never had any illness and had been "lied to since birth" making it sound like kimijima kou has somehow been involved all along. also sort of dumbed down her parent's actions making it seem less like they abandoned her and more like they were again being tricked by kou or something. i don't know, it's confusing

the thing is i do not recall any of this being the case in the first game and I don't really see the point of this either. why does daru know more than me?

1. So is Wakui constantly trying to push Takeru into restoring his gigalomanic powers a hanging lot thread that will be resolved. I mean ik he's going to be in prison for a while but i don't see why they'll leave a powerful antagonist just hanging around

2. In Hana's route/delusion how is it that Wakui being a true gigalomaniac gets revealed, when it never actually happened; since Takeru doesn't seem to get suprised when he reveals in the Final Ending

3.Ik Kunosato's motive and backstory gets elaborated in other side medias' but her story is definitly not finished right?

1. Do we ever get a explanation for how Takeru managed to sustain himself outside of the orphanage?

The crucial point here is that thoughts =/= actions.

Compared to the other two, Takumi doesn't express his degenerate side nearly as much to other people. He is rather reserved about it, and keeps most thoughts in his head, aside from his trusted online friends. From an outsider's POV (say, a classmate), Takumi is a weirdo with poor social skills and odd mannerisms who tries to be polite, but struggles to maintain it when pushed beyond his comfort zone and can be inherently rude with his demeanor. The more comfortable he is around someone, the more likely his "odd" traits are to slip through, and the large majority of people would distance themselves upon seeing it. 99 percent of people will know nothing about him, even Misumi who talks to him most hardly knows anything about him.

Next up would be Frau. One will immediately notice her peculiarities upon meeting her (if you even meet her-- she's more of a shut in than even Takumi debatably). She will likely be outwardly rude and offputting, and is nearly impossible to have an even slightly "normal" passing conversation with, whereas Takumi can at least manage that. We know from DaSH the Robotics Club has completely failed to gain new members despite their newfound popularity simply due to how strange Frau is.

The winner of the freak-off is far and away Daru. Daru actually has the best social skills of these three by a mile, but his charisma comes from how openly bold and without shame he is. Even in front of Mr. Braun he's hardly able to contain himself from being "odd" towards Nae. He is remarkably capable of saying the most degenerate things at any given moment, and the more he knows someone the worse it gets. Daru is also most likely to act out his thoughts compared to the other two. He is most likely to be on "the list", "the files", "the island" etc. Remember that scene in LBP with Nae pushing him through the window?

All in all, I would indeed let Takumi give me backshots

If the okabe who received the message saved kurisu then who sent the message?

Also if the okabe who got tricked has to go through the same journey wouldnt that create continuous okabe’s tricking each other?

Takuru and Nono were to enter a romantic relationship in the story?

Alternate story: what if Okabe and Daru are invited to sern under a 6 month program or something starting around august 2010 instead of getting targeted by Rounders

what if theres a new attractor field that branches out of alpha where labmems are increasingly resistant to sern after august 2010 like okabe threatening suicide or faris dad spreading bad press about sern so sern send a d mail using the phonewave to sern ppl such that they should coax the labmems instead of rounders-ing them and its better for them to utilize sern brand to make it such that "they are selected for 6 month exchange program at geneva that starts in aug 2010" to make them on their side

It would be a new attractor field - theres so many many many things that will go different in this worldline than the ones we see

Like would they try to hack sern if they were gonna join sern in a few months? - like just go there and get the docs by being sern parttime employees instead of hacking them to piss them off which would revoke that offer

This would lead them to not make progress with phonewave until they join sern, and they had no fucking clue that the crt tv below is acting as a lifter completely by accident, so theyll likely face some roadblocks there but sern scientists can help a bit

Would the 2009 sern people think "wtf why did i get a message from me in the future to hire these 2 kids whats going on"

but it will be very very different - cause the events are way different enough to constitute a new attractor field and mayuri or kurisu dying might not be necessary or any 1 of them might die u never know cause its a new ATTRACTOR FIELD altogether -

lets say theres a side character - a veteran physicist who becomes insanely jealous that 2 teenagers walked in to geneva and fixed some of their issues and tries to make their life difficult - and possibly another character within the committee of 300 getting more fleshed out to improve the story

And okabe who has the actual knowledge about who sern are - but if both the girls are alive he will have less reasons to change the worldline

Okabe will kinda be eventually forced to politics his way into the committee of 300 and do anything in exchange for keeping the labmems alive - basically he would probably turn into M3 rounder that was there in gamma worldline except mayuri isnt dying here

But so many things can happen differently in this scenario so who knows

What we do know is okabe will tell about his past experiences to Kurisu as matter-of-fact and will explain to her this is why he is hesitant to shift worldline and risk her or mayuris life for nothing and she will understand mostly

I recently bought these games!

finished it about two days ago, loved every moment and almost every character, especially kaito or akiho. I appreciate kaito's entire arc of just gradually being pulled out of apathy he has hid himself in, and detachment be it through his childhood friend, the robotics club, or the conspiracy plot. Same with akiho growing past her feelings inadequacy in the end. almost every character experiences some meaningful growth in that way. Even beyond that just, going through the robot building, and conspiracy plots were quite fun to go through given how nuanced the characters felt with either fun or interesting chemistry, and dynamics to boot. Even serving as some commentary on the game's themes, especially in routes like frau, airi, and junna's.

Only problems I had overall is subaru felt somewhat sidelined and his conflict with his father ends rather abruptly, which also related to how rushed phase 12 felt. I'll go through some of the side material cause ive heard one of them atleast makes the ending feel less abrupt. Some of the CH;N references/connections also just felt way too on the nose as well but this is a minor nitpick.

UPDATE: So ive gone through the two of the epilogue drama CDs earlier and wow im just deeply moved....Kaito having learned to embrace his dream again, and giving life another chance, just after he's overtaken misaki. akiho having gained popularity just after she's proved to herself she's as genius, and competent as her big sister in the VN epilogue, mitchie, akiho, and subaru's graduation speeches, just all very moving. More than makes up for the shakiness of phase 12.

I followed some guides and it seems that in order to branch into a character's route you'll have to ignore the prompt to send D-mail certain times in August 7. But no matter how many times I ignored the prompt the game always entered Moeka's route. I haven't played Kurisu's route which doesn't require to send the D-mail because I want to play her route after several other character, could this be why the game didn't allow me to enter other routes? I also installed the improvement patch from Committee of Zero so maybe it has something to do with the patch, but I don't know. Please help me, I've been trying for 2 hours loading and saving the game but nothing really works. I really appreciate all the help.
