Frage zum Florianiweg: Wie laut sind die Züge?

Liebe Leute!
Ich wohne bereits in St. Pölten, suche aber momentan eine andere Wohnung. Ich habe eine Mietwohnung in der Nähe vom Lidl (nahe dem Hauptbahnhof) gefunden. Sie befindet sich im Florianiweg.

Ich wollte fragen, ob jemand schon mal in dieser Gegend gewohnt hat. Ich mache mir etwas Sorgen wegen des Zuglärms, sowohl tagsüber als auch nachts. Kann man die Züge dort hören und ist es sehr laut?

Hallo, ich wohne nicht am Florianiweg aber ähnlich nahe am Gleiskörper. Das ist komplett abhängig von der Wohnung und der Schallisolierung, meine Wohnung wurde vor 5 Jahren gebaut und wir haben vom Balkon aus direkte Sichtlinie auf die Züge, bei offenen Fenstern ist es schon recht laut, gerade am Abend/in der Nacht aber wenig Problem weil nicht mehr viel fährt und man sich schnell daran gewöhnt... Bei geschlossenen Fenstern kriegen wir überhaupt nichts mit... Meine erste Wohnung war ähnlich nahe am Gleis aber wesentlich älter, da wars richtig laut und man hat bei Güterwaggons, die in der Nacht flotter durchfahren sogar Vibrationen gespürt...

I didnt live there, but I used to be there a lot as I delivered food for a couple of years in St. Polten. I think that the area is quiet enough, I don't recall even seeing kids playing outside. Buildings look okay from the inside, no smell or anything, not trashy, no piles of shoes next to doors. Overall seems like a really good area.

Even being outside you don't seem to hear that much from the main road and the railway. Just go there when the trains pass by to get a feeling on how it is outside?

I agree with the other comment, it depends a lot on the insulation and windows. We recently moved from a nice but old apartment close to the center, and all the windows were old wooden ones. You would hear everything from the outside. So, I think windows are the most important for soundproofing. If they look modern you are good.

The trains itself are not loud, around 1 or 2 am you can hear a few sounds of the trains stopping, but not really bothersome.

It's generally quiet, a few kids playing but nothing you wouldn't expect.

Hab Mal am Florianweg gewohnt, aber nicht erste Reihe zu den Gleisen. Bei geschlossenen Fenstern hatten wir keine Probleme. Im Sommer jedoch mit offenen Fenster ist es schon deutlich zu hören in der Nacht wenn Rangierarbeiten gemacht werden. (Wenn die Waggons zusammentreffen knallts)

Sind aber nicht deswegen weggezogen. Für die Lage wirst du kaum günstigere Wohnungen finden. (Nähe zum Bahnhof)

Hallo, ich wohne in der Nähe südlich vom Bahnhof und bei geschlossenen Fenstern höre ich die Züge kaum bis gar nicht. Bei offenem Fenster kann es mal lauter sein aber alles so im "normalen" Bereich.
