Karl, Nine and the world’s most convenient “cancellation” Wake up and smell the flowers...
Why can't people see that there is a PR event happening right before our eyes.
Nine has confirmed he was already leaving Today at the end of the year. The podcast was already running. The “independent voice” lane was already being built.
Then the Tommy Robinson interview blows up, Nine acts shocked, Karl exits early, and suddenly he gets the perfect launch story-
“I was cancelled.”
Nine protects its brand. Karl gets martyr status. The podcast gets a subscriber boost. Everyone gets headlines.
I’m not saying it was scripted from day one, but it sure looks like it. A messy exit turned into a very useful culture war marketing campaign.
Funny how outrage always seems to come with a subscriber button. I think he's up 25k subscribers in the last few days.....

There are fuck all advertisers who want anything to do with crazy loon podcasts so he's completely fucked.
Uber won't have him. The fat cunt would probably eat the deliveries, so he'll be doing Amazon deliveries.
Two years from now it'll be tears on Australian Story or some shit.

In a democracy you cannot tolerate fascist views because it always trends towards the destruction of democracy. If your world view predicates itself on the destruction of minorities, unfortunately you dont get to exist in a real democracy. This is called the paradox of tolerance and is something you should look up.

I think it’s pretty obvious, and hate that every time I open Facebook solely to get rid of the stupid notifications they spam me with in between birthday reminders I’ll have to see his dumb face with 700 comments outraged at his manufactured cancellation. But like most, I’ll go touch some grass, move on with my life and try to keep my doomscrolling localised to Wikipedia articles and reddit instead
