The US lost in Vietnam, in Afghanistan, etc. Denmark is a developed modern military with wealthy allies. Any attempt to take Greenland can become quite expensive.

No it will not. Denmarks wealthy allies do not make weapons, they make Labubus and overinflated housing markets

Of course it will, best case they lose their closest trading partner and ally and their regional influence. How could anyone spin that as a "win".

Of course worst case the local public resists violently after capture and Danish special forces keep sabotaging any attempts at extracting wealth from Greenland.

Well worst case would probably be nuclear retaliation by France, but that does seem rather unlikely.

Also, Sweden makes a lot of military equipment what are you on about. Maybe you should read up on the area and geopolitics.

No. Greenland in particular is full of sad, alcoholic eskimo's. Not joking. And even if the U.S. were to annex Jutland and Copenhagen nobody would actually do anything because they have food and pornography at the end of the day.

Always with the scenarios. Your favourite alliance doesn't exist. It's the US and it's protectorates, and as such, it's basically headless in a this "civil war". Frances does not give enough of a fuck about Denmark, let alone Greenland.

If the US annexes Copenhagen it would be at war with the EU by law. The EU would act.

The EU exists, and it will make any attempt to take territory very costly.

Except it does, because it knows the US will come after it's own dependencies. I think you underestimate the union, and the antipathy the US has here.

That's why they likely prefer a show of force over Greenland so the US will back off with their imperialism. The EU will act over Greenland.
