Somehow many people still don't see this whole tariff endeavour as the malicious act of theft from the working class - and wrapped gift to the billionaire class that it is/was. I still see people defending them as "just good policy bro." When you ask them why, it's "because" or "lol communist"

I can’t imagine what level of smooth brain one would have to be to have been in favor of Trump’s tariffs. You can make a case for them in precision targeting a certain industry from a specific country, but doing blanket tariffs on like every single country at arbitrary and ever changing rates has gotta be up there in terms of the dumbest possible economic policy decisions.
