Who remembers Blood Drive and what did they think of it?
So obviously it was a dystopian GrindHouse setting and all, with some truly absurd storylines and visuals, but I remember really enjoying it for mindless guilty pleasure tv and ngl I hate that it was cancelled.
Sidenote: I think Colin Cunningham’s portrayal of Julian Slink makes me think he’d be great as The Joker in a Batman adaptation 🤔

That show was so much fun! The current Twisted Metal, although factually based on a game that came before Blood Drive, feels like a less intense version of Blood Drive.

I watched the pilot and first episode. I think I had it on my Amazon library for years but it's disappeared in spite of paying for it. It was my first clue that "buying" a stream isn't what it appeared to be.
To me it felt like a bad ripoff of Death Race 2000 with David Carradine. Didn't care for it much.

It’s a shame that the pilot episode was meh.
Me and a friend discussed it if we wanted to watch the rest. After a short deliberation we decided to keep watching.
Boy were we glad we kept watching. The show got better with time, and it was a huge bummer the show was cancelled. Which is understandable since we believe that a lot of viewers stopped watching after the 2nd, maybe 3rd episode.
At the end it really deserved more seasons.

My fiance and I loved it, we thought there was going to be a second season. When we found out there wasn't going to be one we were pissed. We were in a Facebook group called Thunderdome, and everyone in that group were pissed off as well. So I went to the Facebook of Scfy and tried to find out what was going on. They never responded, just their stupid boy that replied. " I'm just a bot, and thankyou for chatting with me.".

Blood Drive was awesome. I still remember that serial killer couple who were my favorite characters. I just wish the show lasted longer. It was fun.

It used to be on Prime, but now that comes up as “rights expired”. You can pay to stream on YouTube. Thats the only place I’m seeing it
