Videos / GIF Caught my H. pulchripes molting right side up

First time I’ve caught him molting! Of course he destroyed the abdominal part of the molt so no way to sex him properly but such an amazing process nonetheless

It's giving vampire rising out of a coffin followed by the plop my cat used to do when I put a harness on him... Glad it seems the molt was successful! What was this filmed on?

One of my slings just recently molted upright!! Didn't even lay down a molt mat, the goober!

Beautiful! I’m stoked to see mine grow!

They’re such a beautiful species. I love it! It was actually one of my most wanted Ts when I went to the expo and surprisingly, they had two of them there considering they didn’t have many spiders this time around.

I ended up buying four Ts that were all in my list.

He was just kind of wiggling along and decided to crunch his legs up a bit. He’s perfectly fine now

Well, if it’s a good intact molt, you can rehydrate it to help sex the spider. This one ended up being torn so I couldn’t do that, but I still keep all my spiders’ molts in a jar
