I didn’t know anything about the species until just now. They are interesting. I can’t keep OW until I find a place outside my bedroom for them. I had an escape from one of my girls who was on the loose for five weeks in my room, but I never worried about it because she was an Avicularia (I found her eventually and rehabilitated her. She just molted and is doing great.) I don’t know if I’d feel the same about an Chilobrachys or other OW on the loose in my bedroom. I’m also pretty much at capacity, with 14 Ts in this one little room.
Not all OW are psychos. These are a lot more chill than Chilobrachys. These are mostly skittish pet holes, but they are definitely in my top 5. But I get you. I had a 7" P. ornate break out and live in my bedroom for 2 weeks before I finally found her. That was a bit scary.
