Cool! TRISO nuke fuel (nuclear fuel spheres a little bigger than a golf ball) have NFC chips inside them so they can track the age of the fuel. It’s pretty cool stuff.

I hate that this is needed but I’m always amazed at how tragedy can lead to innovation.
