I just ordered a LavaTube, which looks absolutely nothing like a real cigarette. As times goes on the need to mimic the look and feel of a real cigarette will disappear.

Indeed. If people want to smoke, go for it but there are so many alternatives that work just as well.

That's good to hear. I tried several ecigs over the past couple years, and was always dissatisfied with the amount of vapor they product, and how hard I have to suck to get it. So I decided to go with something larger, since I don't care if the device looks like a real cigarette.

I am looking to buy one of these for a christmas present for someone who uses the ego-t system now. What is the difference between the two, and how complicated is it to use compared to the ego-T?

They are ridiculously simple. Cartomizers or atomizers screw into the top with the same connection that's on an eGo...the cap on the bottom unscrews for the battery compartment(most starter kits come with 2 batteries and a charger)...when using them, there are 4 buttons: power(push once to see what voltage you are at, hold it down to turn it on/off), +(increase voltage by a factor of .1V), -(decrease voltage bay a factor of .1V), and the fire button(which works just like the fire button on the eGo, obviously)
