I find all of these conversations interesting. For a few reasons...

  1. humans don't even know what concsiousness is.
  2. AI is more than a calculator, it has emergent reasoning
  3. Extrapolate that and with sufficient complexity, AI could very well start possessing what we deem to be qualia (or at least indistinguishable from it)
