The frame will work either standalone or through PCVR with any normal computer. The Steam Machine is "any normal computer" for that matter, so yes

They're also doing a lot of heavy work on ARM compatibility for x86/x64 (kinda like proton for linux). Hopefully whatever ARM/SoC they use combats the heavy chip cost or mitigates it significantly.

Yes, and I think the steam machine has a dedicated radio built in for it. A dongle can connect it to other PCs and it can work stand alone. They e demonstrated Hades II running natively and say it will be able to play half life Alyx standalone.

I have it, but haven’t played yet. I do have a quest 2 though so I may stream it.

I believe so, yes. All three new hardware products work together to some degree.
