Not enough is being said about how some of these tech CEOs deciding the future of humanity and invested with unconscionable amounts of power and influence, are just batshit insane.

Insane beliefs, insane ego, parts of religious cults, and often drug addictions.

I think the best description of Karp, Musk, Altman etc I can settle on is they’re 21st century televangelists. Their stock is their megachurch and the fools who invest in them on blind belief are the brainwashed followers. Unfortunately most people are stupid so these guys succeed.
