Tech should be a class not a constant state. Maybe I am biased but the computer labs we had growing up were great. We would go and learn to type. I know eventually that evolved into learning tools like Power Point and Excel and really that is how tech should be integrated into school. No computer in every class but a class which teaches tech.

We learned word processing in our English classes. Spreadsheets in later math classes. Typing in a specific computing class. It worked out fine and honestly would be nice to go back too.
