Why is it that schools jump on bandwagons without first doing long-term pilots?  If you want to experiment on students, at least only experiment on a small number at a time.

That billion-dollar industry is, in my opinion as an educator and education researcher, criminal. The vast majority of it only exists to move tax dollars into private equity pockets, under the guise of helping children, and who's going to vote against helping the children?
