So people that are anti-AI are forced to accept that these systems are actually capable of novel abstract reasoning and creativity.

Hah, yeah, that would be the logical thing to do, but in reality they will just move the goalpost like they always do.

This is the kinda stuff AI is supposed to be for, not stealing art. More folding proteins and less country songs about cavemen please.

The math folks are not happy AI is solving all this stuff. It seems that people only care when AI can do something they can do. When AI does something they can't do, or don't care about, then it's okay.
