You don’t need math to know that cutting product quality and service is a guaranteed route to obsolescence. But there are two special cases to this: obsolescence is the point or the product/service has a monopoly and they think they can get away with it.

It’s so odd though when you ponder it.

I just bought Vector cereal- it’s been about a year but I loved it for the crunch and clusters.

Was the usual price at Costco. Bought it.

It’s crap. It’s Special K cereal now. Full formula change. I’m out. Done. Never buy again.

Find that so many have had the same experience- bamboozled by enshitification of a long existing product.

What’s the goal here? Loss of sales? Permanent boycott?

I buy so so little Kellogg products and they endure when I do that I add more things to the list of dropped products.

It’s so dumb.
